BofA Merrill Lynch is the TOP Global Research Firm of 2011
Institutional Investor magazine announced that BofA Merrill Lynch Global Research is the Top Global Research Firm for 2011, with more analysts achieving total team positions — 226 — than any other firm.
Aggregating the results of its 12 surveys this year to determine which firm produces "the most helpful research in a dozen countries and regions around the globe," the magazine finds that BofA Merrill Lynch Global Research "claims the pole position" this year.
BofA Merrill Lynch's top result was driven in particular by a clean sweep of Asia, taking first place in the All-Asia Research Team and the All-China Research Team, and tying for first place (with Nomura) on the All-Japan Research Team – the first time in history that a single firm has held each top position.
The top rankings reflect a focus from the entire team on collaborating and helping clients navigate remarkably challenging market conditions.
