Private Equity Investments
Bank of America has established agreements with third party private equity firms to advise on the management of certain existing private equity investments. As of June 2011, the former BAML Capital Partners/MLGPE formed a new independent firm known as North Cove Partners. BAML Global Strategic Capital
Global Strategic Capital originates, structures and executes equity investments that are a strategic priority for Bank of America. The group also manages stock, warrants, joint ventures and other forms of equity received by Bank of America. GSC manages Strategic Equity Investments, Private Equity and Venture Capital Limited Partnership Interests, and Environmental Investments.
BAML Real Estate Principal Investments
Real Estate Principal Investments manages directly and through third party advisors investment positions in real estate and real estate funds globally.
BAML Legacy Investments
BAML Legacy Investments manage a portfolio of investments that are venture capital, private equity positions and other direct investments. In addition, the organization provides oversight to third party managers of GPI investments.
