Joseph Powers is senior vice president, business development manager for the East Division of Bank of America Business Capital and is based in New York City. Joe leads a team of business development professionals who provide asset-based solutions and complementary banking products to large and middle-market companies and sponsors within the Group's territory. Joe also specializes in working with distressed companies and their advisors, involved with in-court and out of court restructurings.

Prior to joining Bank of America, Joe was a team leader with GE Capital Commercial Finance, and worked in commercial banking at Manufacturers Hanover Trust. He has been with Bank of America for more than six years.

Joe received an A.B. from Dartmouth College and an MBA from New York University. He is a member of the Turnaround Management Association and Commercial Finance Association.
